Forensic Interviewing and
Conversational Interrogation:
We will discuss
the benefits of conducting well planned and detailed interviews and
interrogations in both criminal and procedural investigations. We will
discuss human responses to stressors and detail how this relates to
internal emotion. We will detail techniques that will assist the
investigator identify deception during interviews and interrogations and
allow for a more complete resolution to investigations. We will
also discuss techniques that will develop suspect admissions allowing
for increased recovery rates in cases involving long term patterns of
fraud.
About the Speaker:
Vince has over
15 years experience in criminal investigation both in the public and
private sector. He has conducted more than 1,000 criminal interviews and
interrogations and had achieved suspect admission rates in excess of
95%. Vince was awarded Loss Prevention Magazine's Outstanding Leadership
Award in 2006 and is regarded as a leading expert in the field. He has
held several corporate leadership positions within a Fortune 500 company
supervising several operational areas including Strategic Planning and
Analysis, Policy and Communication, Organizational Design and Process
Innovation. He currently supervises Asset Protection Operations in
Central New York State for a well known big box retailer.
